Meet CHILIØ, Formerly Known As CHILIOCOSM!
CHILIØ debut mixtape,
(un)orthodox is the official soundtrack
to the Telus documentary, "Small Town
Strength" written by the band.
The documentary
was Rosie Nominated for Best Soundtrack in 2022.
Produced by Quinn Cyrankiewicz of Royal Tusk
(eOne, MapleMusic) and mastered by
Stuart McKillop (Single Mothers, The
Isotopes).
The record rolls new asphalt
over the roads paved by bands such as
Sum 41 & Pierce The Veil, while planting
flowers on the roadside.
Their debut
mixtape features exciting music video for
each song on the record. With members
representing Brazil, Mexico, Philippines
and Canada. The band is truly a
"Chiliocosm" A world of a thousand
smaller worlds.
"We wanted to make an album that spoke to our
generation and the struggles we face. The pressure
to have everything figured out by the time you hit
your mid-twenties is overwhelming, and we wanted
to create something that captured that. We want to
give people a sense of connection and
understanding."
